SAGA.M9 - Upload Service -
The normal way to upload data to a server is either via HTTP or FTP. Besides the security risks (FTP) or issues with data integrity another problem arises when the question about processing of this data comes up.
SAGA.M9 - Uploadservice - solves these questions and issues and furthermore provides a range of additional functions that allow
- securely
- user specific
- reliable
transfer of data.
SAGA.M9 - Uploadservice - is a Java Applet that offers a user only to upload files with specifc attributes (like file extension or file size) depended to application groups that can be defined by an administrator. It can be defined to generate MD5 Checksums on both sides and to compare them after upload to solve problems of maninpulating or loss of data. After successful uploading one or several files, a workflow process can be started to further process the arrived data immediately after arrival. This enables batch application to be triggered. Because the integrity of data is provided it is simply possible to process this data. In a secured environment SAGA.M9 - Uploadservice - will only allow authenticated users to use this function. SAGA.M9 respects and uses the Identity Managemen Systems. As an example we have implemented it with CA - Netegrity Siteminder.
